Fall Sunset by Jim Lennon, Photographer

Always Carry a Camera!

A-C-C!

I was at a presentation by Jay Maisel when he was asked "how do you always get these photos?" Jay's answer was, "I always carry a camera."

It was just a short trip to Harbor Freight for a new flashlight today when on my way home, along Riverside Drive, I saw the moon peeking through the trees. Instead of turning right at Rt 105 I continued straight along the Indian Island Golf Course road to the end. The clouds were ablaze from the setting sun, some last minute pieces of light lit the landscape, and the Moon was in all it's glory.

I just happened (as always) to have my camera! All it took was a simple 24-85mm lens at 70mm for 1/200 sec, f/4.5, ISO 100...nothing fancy at all...A-C-C..."Always Carry a Camera!
