Just Folks. Citrus Season.
I really like this sketch because it reflects one of the things that I love about winter- the variety of citrus!
I love to cook, and canning and making homemade preserves has become one of my favorite things to do. It's a great "snow day activity." Recently, I made some Preserved Meyer Lemons (lemons packed in kosher salt, used in Moroccan, Turkish, and Indian cooking), Meyer Lemon Marmalade, and Blood Orange-Apricot Marmalade.
All the seasons have their bounty, and winter's citrus is one of the best.
