Afternoon Reflection. Something drawn from literature, journalism, music, or conversation that could have meaning for you.

Living.

While driving to pick up a pizza, I was listening to Andy Richter’s interview of Chef José Andrés on the Conan O’Brien channel. (The irony wasn’t lost on me that I was driving for pizza and specifically not cooking while listening to an illustrious chef’s story…) Something José Andrés said resonated with me, “You don’t begin living until you go outside your comfort zone.”

How true is that? You can live your entire life without having the courage and confidence to push yourself further. The good news is—it’s never too late.
